One of my neighbors said something about my garage door being “the wrong shade of white” lol, but I’m not gonna change it without proof. I’ll definitely check the county records
Ugh, that sounds frustrating. Have you documented the incidents? It might be helpful to have a record of the disturbances. Also, check your local laws; sometimes there are noise ordinances or parking regulations that could come into play.
Three is the industry standard, yes. But if you can’t find that many companies to begin with, you don’t have to force yourself. Just make sure you made an effort — and to document those efforts so nobody questions your board in the future.
Security cameras are a tricky issue… If your cameras are pointed towards a neighbors window or lawn, then it could be considered a violation of privacy laws… Maybe a neigbor complained and thats why your board found out about the cameras and made you take them down…
If crime prevention and security are your main concerns… might I suggest swapping out the gates for security cameras instead? Having CCTVs in all of your entryways can help deter crime without the need to convert public streets into private ones.
