Hello – I am on the Board of our HOA and we have a very diligent member. Our Association allows renters as we currently have a traveling nurse renter. Each assignment is 12 weeks and they are on their second assignment. They have out-of-state plates (where their legal permanent residence is) and this diligent member is saying the traveling nurse needs to register their vehicle in the state of Virginia. Can anyone verify?

I think you do need to register out-of-state vehicles in Virginia, though I may be wrong. You should really check with your DMV. I don’t see how this affects your HOA, though.
