We have 3 vendors that have statements in their contracts that state that the HOA must indemnify them.
Our current insurance company (policy renewal) says no and we have looked at other insurance companies that also all say no to indemnification.
Why are the insurance companies saying no?
What options do we have?
Insurance companies are likely saying no because it increases your HOA’s risk and, therefore, the insurance company’s risk. Best to look for a vendor that does not ask the HOA to indemnify them.
