we use quick books – there are some features that it lacks tho for hoas but all in all gets the job done

@frankiefurter Nothing too complicated. Just basic modules for accounting, bookkeeping, collections, and reporting.

Might I suggest hiring an HOA management company instead? Unless your board has experience with accounting, using an accounting software won’t really help you a lot. You still need to have a grasp on basic accounting principles.

We use AppFolio. So far so good. But a pit too pricey in my opinion.

There are some companies that offer only financial management assistance. You don’t have to get the full package.

We don’t use it anymore because we have professional managers now but we did use Condo Manager in the past. Really good, very user-friendly, and inexpensive.
