I’ve had THREE packages stolen in the past month and the condo management won’t do anything about it. I’ve reported it, but they say it’s not their responsibility. Isn’t security part of what we pay for??

Ugh, same here! I had two packages stolen last week. The management told me to “install a camera” if I want to stop it. Like, why am I paying HOA fees if they’re not gonna do anything? I think they just don’t want to deal with it.

Exactly!! I even suggested putting a security camera in the lobby, but they acted like I was asking for the moon. Total joke.

Actually, your condo may be right. In general, condominiums that receive mail for residents have them sign a waiver that says the management is not responsible for any lost packages. It may also contain a rule that says you have to collect your mail by a certain date or whatever. Condo associations are not usually responsible for parcel security.
