Question:
HOA installed a gate to prevent vehicles from driving between the 2-building, 20 condos complex. My condo is at the end away from the entrance and my garage has been struck at least 3-4 times by vehicles forced to backup and turn around to exit the only way in/out of the complex. Now my wooden garage door has been destroyed and I refuse to replace it fearing it will be struck again; I always park in my carport space like most other owners. What can be done to insure the HOA provide a solution so my garage isn’t hit again? It’s been months since I emailed in the last photo of damage.

Answer:
Hi Carol,
It is best to take your issue up with your HOA board or community manager. You should also find out who holds the responsibility for maintaining and repairing your garage as per your governing documents. Perhaps your neighbors who struck the garage are responsible for it.
