Question:
Our HOA just held an election for new board members. I requested to only see the vote numbers for each candidate . For example Bruce 21 votes Shirley 18 votes, etc. I was refused. Is that legal. How do I know they the counter did not disclose the results correctly?

Answer:
Hi John,
Your bylaws should tell you how elections must be held in your HOA. This includes the requirements and procedures for casting votes and counting ballots.
