I have requested to see the books from our Board of directors in writing for our HOA. In Michigan, Is ther a time frame for them to produce the books for me to look at? They are stalling on my request. Thank you.

If you live in a condominium, the Michigan Condominium Act Section 559.157(1) states that records must be available for examination at convenient times. However, it is unclear how “convenient times” is defined.
You may refer to your governing documents to see whether the HOA is required to provide the records within a certain period of time.
