Question:
Our HOA election was held July 16, 2024. It was determined there were election procedures not properly followed. A new board was seated, however I complained our rules were not properly followed and there was an admission of some improprieties. The HOA attorney has suggested we redo the election. Should the old board be reinstated until the re-election takes place, or should the “new” board remain in place until the re-election takes place?
Thanks in advance for your input
– John
Answer:
Hi John,
Considering the “new” board was elected improperly, it is best to continue with the “old” board until the re-election can take place. That said, it is best to consult your HOA attorney once again.
