Question:
The mailboxes at my condo were getting broken into .I began getting an identity theft problem as a result .The HOA members have known about the issue ,and keep saying ” were working on it ” it’s been 8 months and no change to remedy the mail theft .I also had my car broken into as well as my garage . The HOA had failed to keep these areas safe in a timely manner ,and I am suffering

If the HOA is not taking care of the problem, you may raise the concern at a board meeting or issue a written complaint. You may cite provisions in the governing documents stating the board’s obligation to maintain the community’s common elements. If the situation does not improve, you may also vote to remove the problem board member(s) according to the process outlined in the governing documents.
