Question:
I have water damage in my condo from groundwater from an overflowing gutter that has been an issue for years. This happened on August 18 I now have wet walls. I filed an insurance claim. I reached out to my condo association on 18th, 21st and several other days via phone. I’ve sent four different emails on four different days. I’ve even sent them my denial letter from my insurance company because the damage is due to groundwater. I just need access to the condo association insurance policy to see if I’m covered as this is going to happen again, what is my recourse Please?

Hi Leticia,
If you can’t reach your condo association via phone, try other means of communication such as email, text messages, and through your community website. You should also try attending a board meeting so you can raise your concern there. Try to reach out to your condo manager, too (if you have one).
