Question:
a neighbor contacted the HOA in our housing area to ‘report” a ‘ violation” about our fence. the fence is suppose to be a certain height and not in line with the sides of the house. we didnt know that when we moved in. the fence is a very expensive and considered the cadiallic of fences. these neighbors that contaced the HOA did not realize that we had been given special permission one year ago after we found out the fence would be in violation -to keep the fence the height and placement we had it in. it was fully approved as a exception. my question is can the people who contacted the HOA about our fence call or email to ask what came of this issue?

Answer:
Hi Holly,
While your neighbor can contact the HOA for updates, the HOA is not obligated to share details of the violation. It is best to speak to your HOA board about your concerns. Better yet, if you wish to clear things up, you may talk to your neighbor directly.
