Question:
I have asking for a Disability Accommodation from HOA but have been ignored, not even a return email. How can I get them to reply or even respond?
Please help!

Answer:
Hi Aimee,
It’s best to exhaust all forms of communication first. If the board doesn’t reply to emails, attempt to contact them by phone. You may also want to attend the next board meeting to raise your concerns. Your bylaws or CC&Rs may also have a designated response period. If that period isn’t up yet, perhaps you can wait a little longer.
As a last resort, you can hire an attorney and seek legal action. Alternatively, you can file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development or the Colorado Civil Rights Division.
